AGGITAL PERSONALITY – Onaopemipo Oladipupo
When you hear the word “fast”, what does it mean to you? Well, for one us at Aggital, it’s a threat. The word “fast” in his head is interpreted as “You’ve always being a slow dork, so just get this thing done quickly for once!” I don’t know if this rings a bell, but if it does, there’s a 50% you’re pretty much like him. The primary point I’m kicking at is the fact that the word motivates him, and he actually gets that particular stuff done just to prove to anyone that he is steadfast. When you use the word while referring to him, it’s not because he has always being a slow
The primary point I’m kicking at is the fact that the word motivates him, and he actually gets that particular stuff done just to prove to anyone that he is steadfast. When you use the word while referring to him, it’s not because he has always being a slow dork, the words just pop out and it’s because you want it fast. So, for him, it’s great motivation and it brings the best out of him at the moment.
When asked how he got into the art of Graphics and Design, he told us a story (note: the story was shortened to manage space. Perhaps when you get the chance to meet him he’ll narrate the full story. It’d be a pleasure, I trust him) where He was in a café with a friend (which I would call Mr. A) and at the time, he knew little to nothing about a computer (which was as good as a time machine to him).
Mr. A got up to renew browsing time and while he tried holding the mouse, Mr. slapped his hand off the mouse and told him “what do you know they do with this thing!” The statement was actually made in Yoruba language, so it had a bulk load of effect and I’m sure Mr. A had a nasty smirk on his face. Even though he knew nothing about the mouse or a computer, that statement wasn’t necessary. As a matter of fact, that’s a terrible way of treating anyone and it sets in a state of inferiority.
However, for him, that incident (which took place about eight years back) triggered a potent feeling. From then on, he determined that if a computer was mentioned or anything that relates to it, his name will be mentioned ahead of Mr. A’s. The beautiful part of the whole story is that he actually made his thoughts a reality.

Right from his childhood, he always loved art (He is a born artist) and the situation only pushed and made it easy for him. He is super good at what he does and Mr. A respects his judgment anytime. To sum it up, criticism is what makes him, he doesn’t feel so low and refuses to rise above it. Criticism brings the best out of him.

Amongst a pool of values he possesses, one of them is the fact that he keeps learning something new, mostly regarding his field. According to him, there’s more to design (even as classy as his works are) than he already knows. Generally, he believes that no matter how much knowledge you have, there is always more to know, you can never know it all.
In addition, meeting people is a pleasure for him, he’s a people person. He enjoys being with people as much as he loves solitude. In addition, he’s got an amazing sense of humor, you just can’t help but miss him while he’s absent. He’s the kind of entertainer you want to have around at all times and he would make a good career as a receptionist (At least that’s what I think).

All along, I’ve been talking about Aggital’s Lead Creative Designer, Mr. Onaopemipo Rufus Oladipupo. I’d like to warn you ahead, if you have any reason to call this name, please try not to shorten or “acronymize” (pardon my grammar) it. If you do, he would dish out an encyclopedia on why he was given the full name and why you shouldn’t shrink it.
In summary, Onaopemipo is just one of Aggital’s great personality. He has certain good values that we just shared, and would love you to learn from. You can check out some of his illustrations on Instagram @oladipupo_onaopemipo.
In essence, don’t let the words of anyone pull you down even if they’re right, learn to rise above criticism and make the best out of it. In short, keep learning, it’s one thing you don’t get to lose at. You would be glad you did when you look back on how you have evolved.
Finally, it’s a new week and we hope work goes really well for you. Be good! Be awesome! Be motivated!
HAPPY MONDAY!
